Leberg
The Leberg is a well-known climb in Brakel, in the Flemish Ardennes. Around 700 metres long with an average gradient of 6.1%, it is a challenging ascent for cyclists. The steepest point hits 14% on a bend at the foot of the climb.
The climb features in several spring classics, including the Tour of Flanders and Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. During these races, large crowds often gather along the cobbles of the Haaghoek and the Leberg to cheer on the riders.
